We are one week further into the 2024-25 season. Let's take a look at the teams currently sitting in position to go to Nationals.
College Hockey South Division 1 Teams
While Georgia retained its top spot in Division 1, South Carolina and Tampa, each fell two spots in the rankings. South Carolina was idle this weekend, while the Spartans won two games against Fairfield University.
The top 16 teams in Division 1 receive an invite to Nationals.
College Hockey South Division 2 Teams
The Division 2 rankings weren’t kind to College Hockey South’s best, as nearly every team dropped. Florida Atlantic and South Florida held on to spots in the top five, but Middle Tennessee State fell from fifth to sixth.
The top 20 teams in Division 2 receive an invite to Nationals.
Other CHS teams ranking: UCF (22), Lynn (23), Vanderbilt (26), Florida Southern (27), ERAU (29), Georgia Tech (30), Alabama-Huntsville (43), Clemson (NR).
College Hockey South Division 3 Teams
Florida Atlantic broke into the top 10 in the Division 3 ranks for the first time this season, scooting past Alabama as the third-highest College Hockey South team. South Carolina and Tennessee both tumbled in the rankings despite both teams winning twice over the weekend.
The top 16 teams in Division 3 receive an invite to Nationals.
