The top 16 teams in Division 1 receive an invite to Nationals. For Division 2, the top 20 teams will also go to Nationals. The top 16 teams in Division 3 will receive an invite to Nationals. Due to the number of teams in the Women’s division, only four teams will participate in the National Championship tournament.
College Hockey South Division 1 Teams
Following Georgia’s sweep of the previous number-two Tampa, the Ice Dawgs have taken the top spot in the Division 1 rankings. Georgia leads a group of seven College Hockey South teams ranked in the top 16.
College Hockey South Division 2 Teams
Eight Division 2 teams are ranked in the top 20, down from last week, when Lynn dropped to 21st in the polls. Florida Atlantic leads College Hockey South, holding second place in the rankings.
Other CHS teams ranking: Lynn (21), ERAU (24), Georgia Tech (27), Florida Southern (29), Alabama-Huntsville (40), Clemson (NR).
College Hockey South Division 3 Teams
The Division 3 North Division dominates the top of the National rankings, with five of the top twelve representing the North. South Carolina and Tennessee take up the second and third spots in the rankings, respectively. Only one South Division team (#10 Florida Atlantic) would be eligible for Nationals, despite several teams having solid starts to the season.
