The MyHockeyRankings (MHR) are crucial to postseason hockey for every College Hockey South team.
The rankings, which span from South Florida to Quebec, decide who will receive an invitation to the AAU National Championships at the beginning of March. Each AAU division has its rankings.
The top 16 teams in Division 1 receive an invite to Nationals. For Divisions 2, the top 20 teams will also go to Nationals. The top 16 teams in Division 3 will receive an invite to Nationals. Due to the number of teams in the Women’s division, only four teams will take part in the National Championship tournament.
In the initial rankings, all seven College Hockey South Division 1 teams are ranked in the top 16. Nine Division 2 College Hockey South teams make up the top 20, with Florida Atlantic receiving the highest ranking at number two. Six Division 3 College Hockey South were ranked inside the top 16, including Division 3 newcomer South Carolina, which placed third.
