Playoff season is officially here. College Hockey South (CHS) is excited to partner with Visit Lauderdale and the City of Coral Springs to bring the Division 3 playoffs to the Sunshine State. The tournament will take place from February 20-23, 2025, at the Panthers Ice Den, located at 3299 Sportsplex Dr., Coral Springs, FL.

A total of 10 teams will qualify for the Division 3 Playoffs, with the top five teams from both the North and South Divisions earning a spot.

The playoff format promises to add excitement to the tournament. In the first round, the #4 North Seed will face the #5 South Seed, while the #5 North Seed will play the #4 South Seed in play-in games. The winners will advance to the quarterfinals, while the losers will compete in the ninth-place game.

For the semifinals, the highest remaining North seed will face the lowest remaining South seed. If all advancing teams are from the same division, the highest seed will face the lowest seed within that division. There will be no third-place game following the semifinals.

2025 will crown a new conference tournament champion, as the defending champions, Miami, and the 2024 runner-up, Florida Southern, have moved up to Division 2, paving the way for new contenders to rise.
