2025 CHS All-Star Challenge

Get ready for an exciting weekend of elite hockey action as the 2025 College Hockey South All-Star Challenge takes center stage from April 4-6, 2025 at the Ford Ice Center in Clarksville, Tennessee. This highly anticipated event will showcase the talents of some of the top college hockey players from the South, with thrilling competitions and intense All-Star games on the schedule.


The action kicks off on Friday evening with back-to-back All-Star games featuring the top women’s and men’s college hockey talent from the CHS North and CHS South Teams. Saturday will feature exciting skills competitions where the athletes will demonstrate their prowess in various aspects of the game. The excitement continues through the weekend with the final day featuring rematches of the All-Star games.

Throughout the weekend, points will be awarded to the teams based on their performance in both the All-Star games and the Skills Competitions. The teams (one men, one women) with the most points at the end of the weekend will be crowned the 2025 College Hockey South All-Star Challenge Champion. Here's how the points will be earned:


All-Star Games:

  • Winning each Period (1 point) – If a team wins a period, they will earn 1 point. If there’s a tie in the period, no points will be awarded.

  • Winning the Game in Regulation (3 points) – A team earns 3 points for winning the game in regulation time.

  • Winning the Game in a Shootout (2 points) – A team that wins in a shootout earns 2 points.

  • Losing the Game in a Shootout (1 point) – A team that loses in a shootout earns 1 point.

  • Winning the Game by 4 or More Goals (1 point) – If a team wins by 4 or more goals, they earn an additional 1 point.

  • Shutout Win in Regulation (2 points) – A team that wins by shutout in regulation time earns 2 additional points.

Skills Competitions:

  • Winning an Event in the Skills Competition (1 point) – A team will earn 1 point for winning any of the events in the Women's or Men's Skills Competitions.



The rosters for the All-Star teams include the top athletes in both the women’s and men’s divisions, selected for their exceptional performance and dedication throughout the season.
