Most Valuable Player: Claire Carson, University of Alabama (26 G, 15 A, 41 PTS in 13 Games)

In her debut season in College Hockey South, Claire Carson torched her opposition to the tune of three points per game. Carson is in the top three in College Hockey South for every significant offensive category (Goals, Assists, and Points).

Carson has led the top offensive team in the league to a remarkable inaugural season, sparking the Frozen Tide to an 11-2-0 record and a berth in the playoffs. Claire had a point in all 13 games for Alabama and had 11 multi-point games, including four hat tricks.

Congratulations to Claire Carson for being named the 2024-25 College Hockey South Women’s Division Most Valuable Player!

Goalie of the Year: Anastasia Hareas, University of South Florida (8-5-0, 2.63 GAA, 0.814% SV%)

Anastasis Hareas backstopped the South Florida Lady Bulls to a resurgent season in 2024-2025, responsible for eight of South Florida’s 10 wins. Hareas opened the season by winning six of her first seven starts.

South Florida finished 3-5 last year and struggled to keep the puck out of their net. In a complete change of fortune, the Lady Bulls allowed the second-fewest goals per game in the conference this year, behind only Tampa.

Hareas is first in the conference in wins, fourth in goals against average, and fifth in save percentage.

Congratulations to Anastasia Hareas for being named the 2024-25 College Hockey South Women’s Division Goalie of the Year!

Coach of the Year: Tim O’Leary, University of South Florida (10-5-0)

In conjunction with Goalie of the Year, Anastasia Hareas, and the rest of the Lady Bulls, South Florida Coach Tim O’Leary guided his squad to a massive turnaround in the 2024-25 season.

As previously mentioned, South Florida finished last season with a record of 3-5, bowing out in the first round of the College Hockey South playoffs. This year, the Lady Bulls have won seven more games and increased their win percentage by nearly thirty points.

Congratulations to Tim O’Leary for being named the 2024-25 College Hockey South Women’s Division Coach of the Year!
