Game of the Week- Women’s Quarterfinals: (4) South Carolina Gamecocks vs (5) Auburn Tigers
The CHS Women's playoffs begin this Friday, with the No. 4 seed South Carolina Gamecocks facing off against the No. 5 seed Auburn Tigers at Akins Ford Arena in Athens, Georgia.
Both teams are eager to secure a spot in the semifinals. The Gamecocks wrapped up the regular season with a 5-3-0 record (10 points), while the Tigers finished 8-6-0 (5-5-0, 10 points).
Auburn’s Gabriella Donato is a standout player to watch, leading her team with 24 goals, 13 assists, and 37 points. She ranks third in the CHS Women’s Division for both goals and points.
For South Carolina, Alyssa Nardlico has been a top performer on the blue line, leading her team in goals (11), assists (13), and points (24). She ranks among the top players in the CHS Women’s Division.

Clemson Tigers (D2) vs Vanderbilt Commodores (D2)
The Clemson Tigers will face the Vanderbilt Commodores in a back-to-back series on Friday and Saturday night.
Following a season sweep of Ole Miss, the Tigers (7-1-1) have secured their spot in the CHS Division 2 playoffs.
Clemson’s Santiago Diaz and Cam Iacobelli lead the team with 10 points each. Diaz has recorded six goals and four assists, while Iacobelli has three goals and seven assists.
Vanderbilt (3-3-0), however, is currently on the outside looking in, sitting with just six points in divisional games. The Commodores trail Georgia Tech by one point for the final playoff spot in the North Division and are two points behind third-place Ole Miss.
Harrison Parent leads Vanderbilt with 13 points (7 goals, 6 assists) in 15 games.
The puck drops at 8:30 p.m. EST on both Friday and Saturday.
Middle Tennessee State University Blue Raiders (D2) vs Ole Miss Rebels (D2)
The MTSU Blue Raiders have been one of the top Division 2 teams all season, but they’ve hit a rough patch in recent weeks. Middle Tennessee State entered 2025 with a 16-1-1 record but has dropped four of their last six games, including two straight losses to Florida Atlantic last weekend.
Ethan Demumbrum has been a standout player for the Blue Raiders, leading the team with 35 assists and 51 points. Matthew Siciliano is the team's top goal scorer with 29 goals.
Meanwhile, Ole Miss is looking to finish the season strong and clinch a playoff spot. They recently dropped back-to-back games to the Clemson Tigers (3-2 on Friday, Jan. 31, and 7-5 on Saturday, Feb. 1).
The Rebels are currently in playoff contention and could take advantage of a struggling Blue Raider team to secure their place in the postseason.
Jackson Heim leads Ole Miss with 13 goals and 19 points, while Quinn Moses is the team leader in assists.
Puck drop is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. CST on Friday and 8:30 p.m. CST on Saturday.
Lynn University Fighting Knights (D2) vs University of Tampa Spartans (D2)
The Fighting Knights still have a chance to make the playoffs. With a current record of 9-10-1 (5-5-1-1, 12 points), they have two games left against the Spartans. If they win both, they could potentially secure their spot in the postseason.
Lucca Vicino and Mason Moree are tied for the team lead with 25 points each. Vicino has 10 goals and 15 assists in 20 games, while Moree has 9 goals and 16 assists in 18 games.
On the other hand, the Spartans have already clinched a spot in the Division 2 playoffs. With a record of 11-7-0 (7-4-1, 15 points), they are aiming to extend their win streak to five games with a series sweep over the Fighting Knights.

Florida Southern College Mocs (D2) vs University of Miami Hurricanes (D2)
Florida Southern College Mocs are looking to complete a season sweep of Miami after winning the first two matchups earlier this season (4-3 on Nov. 15 and 8-5 on Nov. 16).
The Hurricanes are tied with Lynn University for the final spot in the South Division, but the Fighting Knights have one extra game in hand. Both teams have 12 points, while Florida Southern sits just outside with 10 points.
This series could ultimately determine which team claims the fourth and final South Division spot in the Division 2 playoffs.
Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m. EST on Friday and 2:00 p.m. EST on Saturday.
University of Central Florida Knights (D2) vs University of South Florida Ice Bulls (D2)
The War on I-4 is set to hit the ice for the final time this regular season.
The Knights are struggling, currently on a five-game losing streak with an 8-13-2 record (4-7-2-1, 10 points). UCF faces an uphill battle as they try to gain ground on their rival, who has had an impressive season.
The Ice Bulls have been one of the top Division 2 teams all season, consistently ranked in the top 10. They also hold the distinction of being the last team to defeat the top-ranked Florida Atlantic.
Grant Dietz has been exceptional for the Ice Bulls, racking up 50 points (26 goals, 24 assists) in 22 games. He is tied for second in points among Division 2 players.
UCF, on the other hand, started 2025 with two wins but has since lost their last six games, including four straight divisional losses, causing them to fall behind in the standings.
Colin Jackson has been a bright spot for the Knights, with 20 points (9 goals, 11 assists) in 23 games.
Puck drop is at 9:00 p.m. EST on Friday and 7:30 p.m. EST on Saturday.
